Allen Roberson

Pineal Mixed Germ Cell Tumor: March 2018 – Present

Meet Allen. Allen is a senior in high school and during his sophomore year began experiencing double vision. Diagnosed with Mixed Germ Cell of the Pineal Gland, Allen underwent a series of different types of treatment to get into remission. While undergoing treatment, Allen had to go on the hospital homebound program through school and has had 6 brain surgeries, chemotherapy and proton radiation. He is an overcomer and returned to physically attending school in August 2019 with a desire to enjoy his senior year to the fullest.

Allen enjoys running cross-country and track.  Surrounded by family, including his mother, sister and brother, Allen likes to explore and adventure whenever he can. After church he loves going out to eat. His strength makes others strong. Allen has used his suffering as a gift to connect to people.

Allen has the heart of a champion and strives with determination to do better every day.

“How awesome it is to live each day as though it’s the first and not the last.”
